“We visited Carla’s Clay with our Grandson for the first time. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in. To our surprise it’s a pretty spacious and open warehouse with all resources and materials you’d need for a fun day creating art. Miss Carla greeted us herself and made us feel so welcomed. There were few groups already working on their projects. She was so sweet, graceful and patient. Honestly, the whole staff is. Sarasota Clay Company is an excellent place to go if you like working with Clay material or art. You can watch certain items being made/processed over a period of weeks or just pick up a few supplies or ideas. She has all the latest technology and some old-fashioned technology to make your favorite designs, or memories come true. This was such a fun experience! I took my husband and 13 year old daughter for Father’s Day. They loved it!! Even to just try wheel throwing was fantastic, and reasonable! It definitely created a hunger to go back!
